Ordered the item on the Weds. evening,and it was delivered on Fri. lunchtime,also it was very well packaged,so no damage to goods.The leather is very good quality,and there is a swatch provided so you can see the thickness.It is a full grain leather,but I'm not sure if it's Aniline as stated,maybe semi-aniline(ie.treated).The plywood frame is 7 layers thick and there were no splits or blemishes in the finish.The aluminium parts are of very good quality,with no sharp edges or raggedy bits on the castings.I managed to assemble the chair in about an hour,the trickiest bit being joining the back frame to the seat,but the missus helped with that.All in all I am very happy with this iconic chair,bought at a fraction of the retail price at some "high-end" stores.Lastly a word about the customer service,I was kept informed at all stages by email,about despatch time,delivery time,etc.,so I would definitely order something from this store again. |
