Eames office chair - supplier takes pride in its quality

I ordered an Eames style office chair from another supplier and the coating on the leather made the chair feel 'plasticky'. I thought 'you get what you pay for' but decided to return it anyway. Then for only £20 more I found modBorn. What a difference!!! The chair is lovely. Soft leather [coated sure it has to be to protect from stains but not so it feels plasticky]. Great communication, excellent packaging, overall very pleased customer. I know ordering a chair can be daunting without feeling it or sitting on it but I would recommend you give these guys a go. Will be looking at their other items now. I'm a dedicated internet shopper and so glad I found modBorn.

Above Expectations

Had a question - this was answered quickly / order process was simple. Delivery was on time and well communicated. I thought I had a problem with the product but on speaking with customer service it was apparent that I hadn't taken off the protective plastic. They communicated well and were respectful. Afterwards I received a follow up email to check all was ok. Pleased to see this type of service has not been lost completely. So all positive and no negatives - well done - no problems recommending.

Black Leather Le Corbusier Chaise Lounge

The item arrived on time and was very easy to assemble. We are delighted with the quality of the leather and the steel frame. This chaise is a focal point in our room and is excellent value for money. It is so comfortable we can't get our teenage daughter off it!

Since last week Modborn's Eames Lounge chair is part of our living room. After long survey on the web and all the frightening stories about poor materials (fake leather and poor finishing) I was really sceptical about the competitive prices listed in the ModBorn webshop. The reason for placing my purchase was because of the positive rating on Ebay and Amazon, the short delivery time and the quick and polite customer service answering all my questions (and sending a leather sample on beforehand). The good impression continued while the whole ordering and shipping process (endless 4 days shipping to Germany (delivered by Hermes)).Very good and the wooden and aluminium parts are nicely finished from all visible sides: the build quality of this chair is above our expectations and I hope to enjoy this beautiful piece of furniture for a long time.

J'habite en Belgique et je recommande chaudement cette entreprise fiable.

Then i decided to take contact with them, for a test. I received very quick en complete informations en all the answers to my asked questions. I decided then to place an order and everything that was promised to me is happened: Product availability, confirmation about received money, tracking list, phone call from the shipping company and delivery on the scheduled time! Excellent Barcelona Chair and Stool

I Ordered a Barcelona chair whit ottoman. It was shippt the same day. When I unpackt it, I was very satisfied from the quality, eaven the metal parts have real chrome and not only polished stainless steel. The communication whith ModBorn was very helpful. I will recommend this store to my friends. This is surely not my last buy from ModBorn.

Le Corbusier LC2 style 2 seat sofa

Ordered Wednesday, delivered Friday, with great communication throughout. Arrived well packaged and protected, and in perfect condition (and with the required 'fire resistant' tags). The sofa is true to its inspiration, and a solid piece of furniture. And it arrived fully assembled, too. Looks great beside the LC4 I previously purchased from ModBorn!

We ordered the Barcelona chair and Ottoman on Sunday, it was shipped on Monday and arrived in the two hour delivery window on Tuesday. Difficult to know how that could be improved on. The items are really nice quality and look superb. Very pleased with the service and the items and would recommend to friends.
