Purchased my Eames style chair and Ottoman roughly three years ago. Absolutely brilliant chair. Unfortunately I had ripped the cushion seat with a sharp object. After checking with the guys at Modborn they were able to send a replacement part saving me from having to buy a whole new chair. Great service! Thanks

Eames lounge chair

I ordered a Charles Eames style chair and ottoman in rosewood and black leather from Modborn as their site was informative and clear with competitive prices. The item was sent via courier the next day with tracking information. Sadly the courier managed to send both packages of this item in two separate and incorrect directions. I informed Modborn about this as soon as I became aware of it and they kept me up to date with their earnest efforts to correct this situation over a few days. When no result was forthcoming from the courier within a week they sent a replacement chair via a different courier which arrived within two days. The product quality is excellent and was more than matched by their first class customer service. I can wholeheartedly recommend this company based on this experience!

Excellent communication, got what we wanted as promised.

Bought a brown leather Eames inspired chair and Ottoman that I'd been looking for for ages. Took me about half an hour to construct from the well packed parts - without need to go online for instructions. Looks superb with my other classic chairs, very comfortable indeed.Aniline leather is suitable soft. Plywood good quality and finish, aluminium parts well produced. In all, almost impossible to tell from the original, but for much, much less money! Wouldn't hesitate to use Modborn again.

Top Class Chair

We have the Eames inspired chair and ottoman in plain white leather and I am amazed at the quality, extremely comfy and will last for years as so well built. It is now named the story chair and my grandson and I snuggle up and read together for ages. My Sister who only buys originals is forced to admit it is lovely!
